I took a month long break from social media this past July and it felt amazing…I can’t imagine how good you probably feel after 5 years! I still feel like I’m currently detoxing from it and every time I open an app the cortisol spike is real 😅 l need to just go off the grid lol!
Opening the app and not knowing where the right buttons are or what a stitch is has been like ¿ hm maybe it's for the best hahah. A lovely rest in July sounds amazing, feeling inspired about a get off the grid relaxing retreat 😌☺️
i feel EXACTLY the same, i still have my own ties to social media, but I post through my computer instead-a healthier alternative for me-and I feel like a 10-ton weight off of my body. I stick to quick and mindless posting on Snapchat, and coming to Substack to let out the deeper thoughts.
Finding that healthy alternative that feels better is such a relief! Getting to express in your own way that inspires your greatest joy on your own terms in the way you like to share ideas and life experience. So excited to hear more of your beautiful thoughts!
I read this post tonight and it spoke to my soul and the crossroads I'm at now. I left my corporate job because I dreamed of sleeping in, writing novels, baking, travelling the world, and creating wealth through my *own* skills (instead of working under the thumb of someone else). My mind feels so chaotic at times that my family don't understand me. I feel my creativity like a live wire under my skin. I'm on my way (Brother-Bear-style) and this post was a little whisper that I *can* trust my intuition. Thank you Chelli <3

Inspired by you! Definitely want to do something similar 🙏🏼
I love this for you already! To any degree you embark on it, it brings so much relief and bliss <3
